The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli has time and again opened up about his wife Anushka Sharma has changed his life. The couple dated each other for almost 4 years before getting hitched in December 2017 in Italy. They have been very clear and open about their relationship and have preferred to stay away from the limelight while spending some quality time with each other.

More so, Kohli has praised Anushka a lot even before they got married and he had said that she had changed him a lot ever since they met. While speaking to Dinesh Karthik during his stay in England, the 32-year-old was seen praising his wife for bringing positive changes in life and his attitude ever since they have met.

During a recent interview on Sky Sports, Dinesh Karthik said, “If I hadn’t met her (Anushka), I don’t know where I would have been. She has made me believe where I am and what impact I can have through what I do. She has alleviated me as a person, and that has eventually filtered through in cricket. I couldn’t be more grateful and lucky to have a life partner like her. She is absolutely my better half.”

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma also witnessed the birth of their first child – a daughter, whom they named Vamika, earlier this year. The Indian skipper spoke about how their lives have changed since her arrival.

Talking about his daughter, Virat Kohli said, “Firstly now, with our daughter, it’s putting her to sleep, first thing. Then, stepping out for breakfast somewhere, grab a quick coffee in the time that we get. And then, come back to the room to be with our daughter again. Priority is obviously making sure that we stay up to speed with her schedule.”

Describing a normal day for him in the UK, Virat Kohli said, “Just taking a stroll down the street is probably the most relaxing thing for both of us (in England). Such is the reality of our lives back home. Can’t complain about anything in life, but we have to adjust. Thinking of going down the street in India is not even a dream for us now, it doesn’t even arrive in our dreams anymore.”
