With no cricket going on, all the cricketers have a lot of free time on their hands right now. They are making the most of it by spending time with family. Many cricketers have asl o been proactive on their social media in the past few weeks due to the lockdown. India captain Virat Kohli and former England skipper Kevin Pietersen spoke on cricket and many other topics in a light-hearted Instagram live session that made the cricket fans happy amid the depressing deaths due to Corona Outbreak.
The Indian team skipper has admitted that playing test cricket has made him a better person. Kohli also called test cricket as a format that is a representation of life
When asked to speak on his favorite cricket format replied: “Test cricket, Test cricket, Test cricket, Test cricket and Test cricket. I have said it five times.”
“Because it is the representation of life. Whether you get runs or not, you have to clap when others are batting. You have to go back to your room, get up and come the next day. You have to follow the routine whether you like it or not. It’s like life where you don’t have the option of not competing. Test cricket has made me a better person,” Kohli said.

Talking about becoming a better person, the 31-year-old Indian team skipper mentioned that he feels blessed for having comforts in life right now as the whole world is shut down and suffering from crisis due to the pandemic outbreak of CoronaVirus.
“I am grateful God that I have a place to live at a time when people are struggling for jobs. You just want to sit back and reflect. You are filled with gratitude. We should never sit back and complain about what we don’t have,” he said.
Virat names the one player that the Indian skipper will never sledge in his life and that’s AB de Villiers reasoning that there is just too much respect.
“IPL has done a lot in terms of respecting each other. I would never ever be able to do it (seldging) with AB. There is a friendship that lasts much longer than all these things.”
Asked to names the players he enjoys batting the most with, the World Cup winner again named De Villiers and his and former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
“I enjoy batting with those who understand my running between the wickets. You have to understand my calls. I have enjoyed batting with MS and with AB, we don’t even need to call as we look at each other and we know.”

Speaking about his nutrition and turning vegetarian, Virat also mentioned the cervical spine problem he faced in the 2018 tour of South Africa.
“I had literally no feel in my little fingers. It was also realised that I had an acidic stomach and the calcium was being pulled from the bones. I stopped eating meat and I never felt better. I can now play two Tests matches with little gap at 120 % intensity.”
Virat also mentioned that he would like to play all the 3 formats of cricket till 2023 before taking any decision. Kohli ended on a good note and shared a message to all youngsters who want to be the next Virat Kohli. he asked the young lads to not be self-centered and focus on with 100% discipline and commitment.
