Former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was seen helping the Indian limited-overs skipper, Rohit Sharma to get a review right after Rishabh Pant was unsure about the catch that he took. The DRS call in question was the dismissal of Shamrah Brooks after he was given not out by the on-field umpire on the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal.
Virat Kohli who was standing at the covers told Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant to get the DRS call as he felt that the ball had taken an outside edge. Virat helped Rohit Sharma get a review right in the first ODI between India and West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

The incident took place on the 21st over when Yuzvendra Chahal appealed for a caught behind. The on-field umpire had given it not out and Rishabh Pant was unsure about the edge when Rohit Sharma asked him. In his previous over, Chahal has had got the crucial wickets of Nicholas Pooran and the Windies skipper, Kieron Pollard. The latter was dismissed for the golden duck.
Virat Kohli, who was fielding in the covers, then came and told Rohit Sharma to go for the review as the batsman Shamrah Brooks had edged it. Rohit Sharma took Virat Kohli’s word for it and went for the review which turned out to be correct and helped India get rid of Shamrah Brooks.

Earlier in the game, Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first citing the chances of a dew. For India, Deepak Hooda is making his ODI debut in the game with Siraj and Washington Sundar making a comeback to the team.
