Virat Kohli Seems Angry With The RCB Management

After AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper, Virat Kohli too seems to have joined in what looks like a campaign after all the photos across social media platforms of the IPL franchise got deleted. Amid rumors that the team is set to undergo a brand makeover, it’s prominent players have been tweeting outposts which apart from resembling each other have also managed to generate a lot of fan interest into the happenings at the franchise.

The latest to join the bandwagon is the skipper, himself, Virat Kohli. Taking to Twitter he wrote on Thursday: “Posts disappear and the captain isn’t informed. @rcbtweets, let me know if you need any help.”

Earlier, Chahal took to social media and expressed being surprises over the latest development, which comes weeks ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. He tweeted: “Arey @rcbtweets, what googly is this? Where did your profile pic and Instagram posts go?” 

AB de Villiers was the second RCB player to express surprise. He wrote: Folks at @rcbtweets, what’s happened to our social media accounts? 😳 Hope it’s just a strategy break.”.

RCB’s actions come a day after the IPL franchise signed a sponsorship deal Muthoot Fincorp for IPL 2020. RCB on Tuesday announced a three-year partnership with Muthoot Fincorp Ltd, a part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group, popularly known as Muthoot Blue, a diversified conglomerate in the financial services industry.

After finishing as runners-up in IPL 2016, RCB’s performances in the following seasons have been far from impressive. Under the leadership of Virat Kohli, RCB finished last in 2017, 6th in 2018 and once again last in 2019.
