They even share a strong bond as a bowling attack on the side as well. Now, Virat Kohli shared the camaraderie between the Indian pacers. The deadly trio performed significantly well in the Test series against South Africa and Bangladesh. Moreover, in India’s first-ever Day-Night Test, they took all the 19 wickets available.

In that match, Ishant Sharma was given Man of the Match for taking nine wickets while Umesh Yadav took eight and Shami ended the game with two wickets under his belt. The commendable form of pacers was the main reason behind Team India staying unbeaten in Tests in 2019.

In a recent interview, Virat was questioned over which bowler faces leg pulling the most in the team. Replying to the same, Kohli said Ishant has to face it a lot. He also added that they always keep trying to make fun of each other but at the end of the day, each of them enjoys each other’s company.

As per the quotes in India Today, Virat said, “I cannot explain to you but you watch any funny movie that comes out in this day and age, compare it with these guys hanging out together, you will laugh more looking at these guys. I mean obviously you have to censor things a little bit. I mean it is amazing.”

The Indian skipper recited that Jasprit Bumrah is a shy guy but has the capability to say the right things at the right time. Bhuvneshwar Kumar always keeps on joking around in the dressing room. However, the main thing is that it keeps the atmosphere of the team calm and composed because of them according to Kohli.

Kohli further added, “Ishant is the most senior, his legs being pulled around the most. Jassi (Bumrah) is very shy, very composed but amazingly witty. He would say things at the right time. Timing is perfect. Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) is proper UP ka you know, mazaak karne wala (likes to joke around). Shami again, he gets along and Umesh as well. Umesh bhi uski tang kheechta hain, you know.”
