Virat Kohli is as soft from inside as he is aggressive while on the cricketing turf. This proved in Thiruvananthapuram, where Team India reached to play the T20I series decider against New Zealand. Kohli stopped the team bus just to meet differently-abled children outside the bus.

Kohli got out of the bus to sign autographs and shake hands with handicap children from Amrithavarshini – a society for Osteogenesis Imperfecta, based in the district. Thus, he has fulfilled the life-long dreams of those children.

While seeing their captain doing such a kind thing, the other teammates, too, stepped outside the bus and signed the autograph books.

Latha Nair is the founder of that NGO and she shared this video on her Facebook account. Also, she said this was a wonderful gift for these children.

“Every year we ask the children to share their desires. This year the request that came from them was for laptops, medical aid, instances of meeting celebrities etc. The requests are plenty and many remained unfulfilled. I was pleasantly surprised to see six of them showed their great passion to meet the cricket stars. I kept mum because I did not know, how I could make their dreams come true. I contacted many but in vain. Anoop always kept on asking, “Aunty did anything work out?” I was always in a positive mind and replied “ Yes it will happen,” she wrote in the Facebook post.
