India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah got hurt during their first game against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). More than the loss, his injury was more important for Mumbai Indians and all the fans of India. He was seen in pain after he fell down while fielding and it was looking like a shoulder injury and later he walked off the field as well.
However, he didn’t come out to bat but later it was reported later that Bumrah was fine. The team management was looking after his injury. As the ICC World Cup is around the corner, every player is looking after properly. Also, Bumrah’s injury too as he is one of the main players of India. However, according to the sources, Jasprit Bumrah was fit again to play. He is expected to play the next game for the Mumbai Indians against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

“He is fit and it was just a case of shoulder spasm, nothing serious at all. He is an integral part of both Team India and Mumbai Indians and with the World Cup round the corner, the management felt it was best to keep him away from the batting crease on Sunday,”
the sources said to India Today.
Meanwhile, Patrick Farhart, the physio of team India also contacted Mumbai India’s physio Nitin Patel on Monday to talk about Bumrah’s injury. Even India captain Virat Kohli and the team management was also was worried for him.

“Everyone was concerned and Patrick spoke to Nitin on Monday morning to gauge the situation and the future course of action as Bumrah is an integral part of the Indian team going into the World Cup in May. But, there is nothing to worry and he is likely to take the field in the next game,” the source said.
