Employees at CARE Foundation were in for an exciting surprise, as Team India Captain Virat Kohli’s Car pulled off into their gates. It was a great day for CARE.

Like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli is extremely fond of dogs and has always had a special place in his heart for them. He visited Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre (CARE) in Bengaluru yesterday. The CARE, via their Facebook page, shared a few pictures of Kohli who met a number of dogs and the whole sight was a pleasant one to see. A dog is man’s best friend and Virat Kohli absolutely believes that.

Virat Kolhi’s visit wasn’t a casual one, though, and he didn’t just end it up with meeting the beautiful creatures. He also passively adopted fifteen of the most horrifically ill animals.

The fifteen dogs Kolhi passively adopted include paraplegic, blind and chronically ill dogs. This means that he will undertake financial responsibility for these dogs and will be kept in the loop about their wellbeing. Founder trustee of CARE, Sudha Narayanan, accompanied Kohli as he met the rescued canines.
