Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is usually known for posting something quirky and witty posts on social media. While he is currently busy working as a mentor of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), Viru didn’t forget his 14th marriage anniversary. He wished his wife Aarti Sehwag with a beautiful message and also posted a picture of her while celebrating one of the best days of his life.

Sehwag got hitched with Aarti on April 22 in 2004 when he was at the peak of his cricketing career and received a lot of support from her while he was playing the game he loves the most. After retiring though he has owed his life to his wife and keeps on posting updates on social media whenever he goes somewhere with her. Viru, according to his nature, also candidly calls her the ‘boss’.

Despite is commitments, Virender Sehwag took some time out for the love of his life Aarti and celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary. He posted an adorable picture with her as the cake was spread all over his face and wished her a very happy wedding anniversary in the caption. “HA HA! Happy Anniversary @AartiSehwag!”

Incidentally, the swashbuckling opener of the last decade is in his hometown as KXIP are all set to lock horns against the Delhi Daredevils (DD) on Monday. It was Viru who planned to pick Chris Gayle in the IPL 2018 players’ auction and the move is paying rich dividends for the Punjab based franchise as he has already won them three matches on the trot.
