The sudden spreading of the life-threatening coronavirus has put the entire world into a lockdown. More than 21,000 people have died due to the pandemic and every day fresh cases are emerging in what is an unprecedented situation for the world. India’s reported cases will soon be reaching the 700-mark and the country is under a 21-day lockdown post the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation on March 24.
With everyone under a lockdown, CricBuzz has come up with a new show titled ‘Strategic Time Out’ where former cricketers revealing how they are spending their time during the quarantine phase. The latest video is of former swashbuckling opener Virender Sehwag. The video starts with Sehwag urging fans to follow the guidelines give by the authorities and to stay at their respective homes.

Virender said, “These are difficult times but we have to stay positive, stay strong and stay safe. Follow whatever the authorities are suggesting and this too shall pass. So, while I am in lockdown, I thought I’ll answer some questions; share your answers too and let’s keep spreading the joy?”
When asked about his favorite pastime while isolation, Sehwag replied that Spending time with family, playing Ludo, playing saapseedi, playing carrom board, playing with dogs, are his favorite pastimes currently.

Former Indian opener was also asked about the number of Sanitizers that he currently has at home. Replying to the same, Sehwag said, “I have sanitizer for every room; for my guard room, for my servant room. So, I have around 12-13 sanitizers. Whoever comes to my home, they have to wash their hands first; if they don’t they have to use hand sanitizer”
When asked on whether he has been watching cricket videos of the past, Sehwag revealed that he has watched the highlights of a quite a few innings of his including his two triple-centuries, ODI double-hundred, while also mentioning that his debut Test hundred remains his favorite.

Sehwag also revealed the movies that he has watched during the lockdown, while also mentioning his favorite quarantine partners.
Virender Sehwag said, “I think I watched a couple of movies. Commando 03 I watched recently. I watched a couple of English movies as well, I watched Mission Impossible. I am waiting for Baaghi 03. The moment it comes on Netflix or any other platform, I’ll watch that also, and Street Dancer 03, I watched with my kids and wife.”
