The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has started just for two days and the fans have already witnessed a few thrilling games. The players have started showing off their unique celebrations after picking up a wicket. If Dwayne Bravo of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) unveiled his No.1 celebration in the opening game, Wanindu Hasaranga of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) imitated the celebration of Football star Neymar.

RCB faced the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the third game of the season and after posting a total of more than 200 runs, the Faf du Plessis-led side would’ve hoped to strike early with the ball. However, that didn’t happen and the PBKS openers Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal got off to a flying start.

After conceding 71 runs without any success in seven overs, Wanindu Hasaranga came out to bowl the 8th over of the game and he struck instantly. He delivered a short skiddy delivery first up which Mayank Agarwal went for a pull shot without keeping it down only to find Shahbaz Ahmed at square leg who took a good low catch. As soon as the catch was taken, Hasaranga unfurled his Neymar-like celebration.

Here is the video of the dismissal:

Earlier, Faf du Plessis led RCB from the front after being asked to bat first. He took his time early on and wasn’t timing the ball at all but didn’t throw his wicket away as well. Du Plessis recovered after a slow start as later in the innings smashing the PBKS bowlers to all parts of the stadium. He scored 88 runs off 57 deliveries with three fours and a massive seven sixes.

RCB lost only two wickets in their entire innings with Anuj Rawat (21), Virat Kohli (41*), and Dinesh Karthik (32* off 14) contributing to the total. They managed to score the season’s first 200+ total and posted 205 runs on the board in their quota of 20 overs. PBKS struggled with the ball and they also conceded a lot of extras in their innings as well.
