Virat Kohli reached a significant milestone on Sunday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, as he powered Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to a dominant 9-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals (RR). Kohli’s composed innings of 62* off 45 balls guided RCB to successfully chase down RR’s target of 174 with 15 deliveries to spare.

This half-century also marked his 100th T20 fifty, a remarkable achievement in his illustrious career. Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer lauded Kohli’s adaptability, highlighting how his game has evolved over the years.
“He has a game for every situation,” Wasim Jaffer remarked, adding that Kohli’s ability to hit sixes, which wasn’t as prominent in earlier years, has made him even more dangerous.

“We saw him step out and hit sixes today, and now he uses that slog sweep,” Wasim Jaffer continued. He went on to praise Kohli’s numbers, noting that with 100-plus fifties in T20 cricket, his record speaks volumes. “He’s a master,” Jaffer said. “He’s such a great player, we don’t even need to talk about him anymore.”

Piyush Chawla, the former India spinner, also showered praise on Kohli’s consistency and class.
“When he goes out there, he makes things look so easy,” Piyush Chawla said, explaining why Kohli remains at the top of the white-ball cricket hierarchy. He pointed out that Kohli’s form this season has been impressive, adding, “When you’re chasing 173-odd runs and get a good start like Phil Salt gave, you just know that Virat Kohli will finish the job.”
