Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be hoping to reach the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 but chances of that happening are very thin as they have to win the remaining fixtures to stand a chance. KKR got the better of Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their previous game and on Saturday faced another tricky test in the form of second-placed Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
High-flying LSG has won three consecutive matches and will not be an easy team to beat, but KKR certainly has the firepower to beat any team on their day. Ahead of the clash between the two teams, former India opener, Wasim Jaffer, who has become a social media rage thanks to his witty posts, shared a meme from the movie ‘Golmaal 3’ to express the situations of KKR’s fans.

The words are quite apt in relation to KKR’s current situation in the IPL 2022 as they are struggling to reach the playoffs and fans saluted Jaffer for his witty take on it.

KKR is currently placed seventh in the 10-team IPL points table. They have managed to win just four games out of 10 they have played so far. KKR will hope they win all their remaining matches and others above them drop points.
