The three-year-old kid, Sanush Suryadev from Chennai registered his name to the Asia Book of Records as the youngest ‘professional cricketer’. Sanush is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm bowler. He has been tagged as a ‘professional cricketer’ tag because of his capability to hold the bat and play shots like a professional cricketer.
Sanush’s father, Murugan Raj, who himself is a cricketer revealed about his kid, he said, “He can play straight drive, cover drive and can also come down the track and hit the ball.”
Apart from registering his name to the Asia Book of Records, the kid also made it into India Book of Records as the youngest child cricketer in the country. Both the record-keepers have their own panels which identify kids with extraordinary talents.

Sanush, who is also an internet sensation, started playing cricket since he turned one. Earlier this year, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni met the cricketing prodigy and praised him for his talent. In order to keep his love for the former skipper, Sanush Suryadev is also called ‘Junior MSD’. Interestingly, MS and Sanush share the birthday on the same day.
As quoted in Sportskeeda, Sanush’s father said, “He is the world’s youngest cricket player. He has been playing cricket since he turned one. What’s special about my son is that he plays like a professional cricketer. He plays straight drive, cover drive and can also come down the track and hit the ball.”
According to the media reports, Sanush has a habit of waking up at 5 am in the morning in order to start his practice sessions.
