Despite the fact that MS Dhoni hanged his boots as Indian skipper earlier this year in January, the team management has always suggested that Mahi’s role in teh team isn’t limited to batting and wicketkeeping.
The former India skipper has always been lauded by his teammates for giving proper guidance to the youngsters. On Wednesday, during the 2nd ODI of between India and Sri Lanka in Mohali, Dhoni ‘the mentor’ was once again seen in full flow when the debutant Washington Sundar came on to bowl in the second innings.
Sundar would’ve never minded getting some guidance from his teammates in his debut international match. He did not have to look far for the same as Dhoni in his usual self-was guiding the youngster from behind the stumps. From instructing him to bowl from which side to where to land the ball, Dhoni could be heard giving advises to Washington.
