Currently, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are locking horns with each other at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. After winning the toss, the KKR skipper, Dinesh Karthik asked the visitors to bat first. However, the visitors started on a rough note as their lost Parthiv Patel in the fourth over of the match itself.

During the toss, the RCB skipper, Virat Kohli revealed that they have made a couple of changes to their squad as Umesh Yadav and AB de Villiers made way for Henrich Klaasen and Dale Sen. On the other hand, KKR skipper said that they have made no changes to the squad.

Kohli and Parthiv started their innings cautiously as they scored just 17 runs in the first three over and on the second ball of the fourth over itself, Sunil Narine got successful in getting the wicket of Narine owing to a juggling catch by Nitish Rana at deep mid-wicket. Surprisingly, after Parthiv’s dismissal, Akshdeep Nath came out to bat despite having players like Moeen Ali, Marcus Stoinis and Klaasen in the batting line-up.

Narine tossed the ball up and it was dipped as well, Parthiv decided to go for it as he attempted for the legside swipe, but only managed to get the toe-end of the ball as it went swirling into the air. Rana runs to his right from deep square leg and holds on after juggling it a bit.
