Robinson and Rahul had the tussle on the second day as well when Rahul was batting with utmost focus and wasn’t conceding any false shot to England bowlers. Robinson tried to unsettle him with some words but Rahul neglected all the mind games.

On the match’s front, India started their innings well as Rohit Sharma and Rahul gave them a solid 97-run opening stand. However, a mini-collapse triggered from there on with James Anderson dismissing Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli off successive balls before Ajinkya Rahane did hara-kiri to run himself out.
