Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) started off the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a bang. The players are in tremendous form since the beginning of this league. They have won 4 matches out of the 5 matches they have played so far. The owner of the franchise, Preity Zinta is very happy and excited and she is planning to do something special for the team if they win the title of IPL 2018.

KXIP has struggled historically in the last 10 seasons of IPL and rarely qualified into the playoffs. But this time around, they have picked a brilliant squad in the auction and even the gamble to pick Chris Gayle has worked wonders with the Universe Boss winning the Orange Cap after playing just three fantastic knocks for his team.

The Punjab based franchise thumped Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their own den at the Eden Gardens the other day by chasing down the curtailed target of 125 runs in less than 12 overs. The environment in the dressing room has been superb and even the team owner Preity Zinta was also happy after back-to-back victories.

In their last match, KXIP defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in their own home game at Eden Garden, Kolkata. After the match, KL Rahul and Preity Zinta were involved in an amazing conversation where both of them asked a few questions to each other.

In one of the questions, Rahul recalled how Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders did cartwheel when KKR won the tournament. He asked if she will do anything special for the players, to which Preity Zinta replied, “Ok, I will do something special. I am not going to tell you. We are in it to win it and if we win, I will do something special,”
