Currently, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are locking horns with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi for the second time in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After winning the toss, the DC skipper, Shreyas Iyer asked the visitors to bat first. However, the visitors lost their in-form players, KL Rahul in the second over of the match itself.

During the toss, the KXIP skipper, R Ashwin revealed that they have made three changes to the squad as Sam Curran, Harpreet Brar, and Hardus Viljoen came in the squad for Nicholas Pooran, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Arshdeep Singh. However, DC also made three changes to their squad as  Colin Ingram, Sandeep Lamichhane, and Sherfane Rutherford came back in the squad in place of Colin Munro, Keemo Paul, and Chris Morris.

Gayle and Rahul started cautiously as they added just 3 runs in the first over, but the next over of Lamichhane, Rahul started off with a huge six over the bowler’s head followed by a boundary on the third ball of the over. However, he was dismissed on the fourth ball owing to some brilliant wicket-keeping from Rishabh Pant.

Lamichhane tossed up after getting smashed and the ball was spinning away this time and in order to reach to the ball. Rahul missed his balance for a fraction of sec and in the meantime, Pant whips off the bails. In the replays, it was clearly shown that Rahul’s foot was on the line, which left him no option than to go back to the pavilion.
