Earlier this year, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli became the butt of jokes during the South Africa tour when he was caught swearing on the stump mic while he was batting with Murali Vijay. But that isn’t the first time some Indian cricketer was found using curses publicly. There is an old video uploaded by Scoop Whoop which was gone viral, in which the star batsman, Rohit Sharma and Indian pacer, Praveen Kumar had been there and done a similar kind of a thing way back in 2011.

The incident took place during the ODI series of the India tour of England, 2011. Sharma had been practicing in the nets in full throttle, with his helmet and pads on, when some onlooker standing by the nets chose to pass some unfavorable comments towards the batsman. Visibly annoyed, Rohit can be seen in the video, confronting the onlooker and even threatening to bash a bat on his head. Indian pacer, Praveen Kumar can also be seen in the footage trying to intervene in the beginning, but eventually getting worked up and hurling the choicest of curses at the man standing outside the nets.

Current Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was badly trolled on social media as the defending champions of the FIFA World Cup 2014, Germany was kicked out of the ongoing edition from the league stage itself.  Twitterati had found Virat the culprit for Germany’s early exit because they found a trend that whichever team he supports, gets to face bad results in future.

Ahead of the World Cup 2018, Kohli was seen supporting Germany and they got knocked out, while during the qualifiers he got hitched in Italy and the nation couldn’t manage to qualify for the mega event.
