Spiritual speaker Jaggi Vasudev, aka Sadhguru, revealed the reasons behind Sachin Tendulkar’s success on the cricketing field. He said Sachin’s religion and sacred stuff are the reasons behind his immense success while playing cricket.

India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar served the nation for 24 years and remained at the peak of the cricketing world for the majority of those 24 years. In the process, he shattered almost every cricketing record with his bat, which experts to term him the greatest batsman of all time.

Talking about Sachin in a video, Sadhguru said “Let’s say, Sachin Tendulkar. This man knows nothing except hitting a ball. He gets so devoted to hitting a ball, hitting a ball, hitting a ball and he hits it like nobody and now he is Bharat Ratna. Yes, or No? It is just devotion. You must talk to him and see privately, he is like, you talk about the ball, he will… He is so devoted to it, okay?”

he further went on to add, “It’s his religion, it’s his sacred stuff, it is everything to him, hitting the ball. His entire life he invests in one simple act, hitting a ball, is it a big thing? But hitting a ball because of enormous devotion, just see what happens. Tremendous things happen, isn’t it? So, the question is not about what you want to do. The question is just this – can you be devoted to this?”

Sadhguru mentioned that it doesn’t matter what you want to do in your life but what matters is that he does well in whatever he is doing.

Sachin Tendulkar retired from international cricket back in 2013 after playing his 200th Test match in Mumbai. He recorded 100 centuries in international cricket for his 34,357 runs, which simply reveals his mastery with the bat.
