There have always been talks about the fact that the Indian cricketers stay together like a family and they spend some quality time with each other especially on the overseas tours. They have a lot of fun which helps to create special bonding among the players. Also, whenever a new player is included in the squad, he had to go through a hilarious test as soon as he enters the dressing room. Recently, a couple of new-comers, Krunal Pandya and Deepak Chahar have been called up for the first time in the national squad recently and they had to perform the same drill.

Both the cricketers were in India A squad recently, who played the tri-series in England involving the Lions and Windies A and went on to win the series as well. Chahar, who earned a name for himself in the recently concluded season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, was the highest wicket-taker (13) of the tri-series. Krunal also did exceptionally well and he was always on the radar of the national selectors, since quite some time.

Both the newbies were included in the squad as the injury replacements for Jasprit Bumrah and Washington Sundar. While the former broke his thumb while playing in the first T20I against Ireland the young all-rounder twisted his ankle while playing football which was a part of their training.

No wonder the new member in the team has to suffer a little from the senior cricketers in the team making their fun in a good way in order to make them feel comfortable in the change room. Both, Deepak Chahar and Krunal Pandya, were made to introduce themselves by standing on the chair in front of the whole team ahead of the first T20 International against England in Manchester.

It was a fun activity as Shikhar Dhawan recorded the video of the same and posted it on his Instagram story. Now it will be interesting to see when the duo will get a chance to make their debut in the shortest format of the game. There is also a possibility that they might feature in the third and final match of the series if India manages to seal the series in the second T20I itself.
