WATCH – Shreyas Iyer Flaunts Footballs Skills In The Delhi Camp

The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Delhi Capitals (DC) has been led by Shreyas Iyer and he was recently seen impressing his fans with his keep-ups skills in a video tweeted by the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise on Wednesday. In the minute-long video, Iyer can be seen having fun as he bounces the football multiple times on his foot before it hits the ground.Β

The right-handed batsman was appointed the skipper of Delhi Capitals last year. In 2019, Shreyas managed to score 463 in 16 matches with an average of 30.86 and a strike rate of 119.94. The video tweeted by the Delhi Capitals invited fans to try their hand at the same and send in videos if they can do it better than Iyer.

Meanwhile, on social media, Iyer also posted a video in which Hardik Pandya was making a video with Shreyas. In this video, KL Rahul commented and advised both to wash their hands.

Shreyas shared the video, in which he was clicking selfies. At the same time he wrote the caption, “Reality vs expectation” and he also tagged Hardik Pandya. In the second photo hitting the slide, it was seen that the hand that Shreyas Iyer was showing in the selfie was that of Hardik Pandya. The last slide contained a video explaining what the two did to get a selfie.

Under his post, the comment came from the Indian opener, KL Rahul. He asked them to wash their hands. He wrote in the comment section, “Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya, you both wash your hands …”

The Indian Premier League was supposed to begin from March 29,2020, but last week, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the IPL governing council have decided to delay the start due to coronavirus. India’s biggest money-spinner has now been suspended to April 15.

Major sporting events like the French Open and Euro 2020 have been postponed to prevent the spreading of the coronavirus pandemic. It will be interesting to see how the BCCI goes about the IPL in the coming days as the revised date for the start of the cash-rich league is April 15, 2020.
