Rishabh Pant is well known for his commentary while keeping the wickets. Everyone enjoys listening to him when he is keeping the wickets. Another similar incident occurred during the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals, where stump mic picked Pant uttering words.
RCB’s batting lineup got early jolts as they lost Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal off successive deliveries. This brought their main men, Glenn Maxwell, in the middle, who is known for his swashbuckling batting approach. He took no time and started swinging his bat around.

Rishabh Pant brought Amit Mishra on the attack keeping his good record against Maxwell in mind. However, the Australian batsman took him for cleaners and smashed him for a huge six. Seeing the shot, Pant couldn’t resist himself and praised Maxwell’s shot by saying “Bahut Tez Ghumaya ye (He smashed it very hard).”

Maxwell was looking in his groove to turn the game but then came Mishra back and took his revenge by dismissing him for the fifth time. Maxwell got out after scoring 25 runs in 20 balls, where he hit one four and two sixes.

Earlier, Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl first in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Ishant Sharma made his comeback in this match in place of Ravichandran Ashwin while RCB included Rajat Patidar and Daniel Sams in place of Navdeep Saini and Daniel Christian.
RCB lost both their openers within the powerplay. Rajat Patidar and Maxwell steadied the things from thereon. However, it was AB de Villiers who stole the show with his clean hitting in the final over of the innings. De Villiers smashed Marcus Stoinis for three sixes and propelled RCB’s total to 171/5 in 20 overs.
