With COVID-19 emerging as the biggest threat for the whole world, Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma had an Instagram live session where the duo spoke in lengths about the subject of cricket. The duo opined that the fans take things really seriously when it comes to the India-Pakistan rivalry and requested the fan from both the countries to not criticize players too much after a bad day on the field.

Yuvraj spoke about how fans get very personal when it comes to any Indo-Pak game. The former was of an opinion that fans from both the teams should have some patience with their players as they are also giving their everything to win.

During an Instagram live session, Yuvraj said, “Big example is India and Pakistan game. Everyone gets personal about their country but the point is you have to think about the players. Everybody is giving 100 percent on the field and only one team is going to win. Sometimes the opposition is going to win and sometimes you are going to win. People from both countries need to have more patience towards their players.”

Yuvraj also asserted that India has defeated their arch-rivals in every match of a WOrld CUp because they have managed pressure well. He also pointed out that Pakistan in the earlier decades had a good team that would often win against India.

On the other hand, the Indian deputy skipper supported the thoughts of Yuvraj Singh. Rohit urged fans to enjoy the match instead of just taking things personally. He also blamed the media for intense criticizing a particular player after he fails to perform in a few matches. He stated that winning and losing is a part of the game but each player tries their best.

Rohit explained, “This thing is important and whenever we get the opportunity we try to tell our fans about it. We understand that you want your team to win, but the other team is also playing and they will also try to win, so winning and losing is part of the game. But the thing is people should not write off players saying he is playing really badly and throw him out of the team. Fans should just enjoy the game and let authorities do what they are supposed to do.”
