The Indian cricket fraternity is celebrating the 37th birthday of one of the best all-rounders the world has ever seen, Yuvraj Singh, who was also one of the crucial reasons behind India’s triumphant ICC World Cup 2011. The flamboyant all-rounder celebrated his birthday on Tuesday night with his wife Hazel Keech, close friends Zaheer Khan, his wife Sagarika Ghatge, Ajit Agarkar’s wife Fatema Agarkar and a few other friends. Chak De India fame Sagarika took to photo-blogging platform Instagram and shared photographs from Yuvraj’s birthday bash. Sagarika captioned her photographs, “Happy birthday Yuvi – wishing you the best of the best always. Love Xx”.
Yuvraj is a cancer survivor after successfully battling the deadly disease since being diagnosed with the life-threatening disease post the ICC World Cup 2011. To make his birthday even more special, the 37-year-old pledged to support the treatment of 25 cancer diagnosed children through his foundation YouWeCan.

The southpaw all-rounder is currently gearing up for the upcoming IPL auctions, which will be held on December 14 in Jaipur. With a base price of ₹1 crore, he will hope to find a new team in a bid to revive his cricketing career for a one last time.

Many IPL teams might consider buying Yuvraj Singh as many players might not end up playing the entire season 12 of IPL due to the ICC World Cup 2019. The showpiece event will kick start weeks after the completion of IPL, due to which many Aussie players, including the likes of Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch, have decided to pull out from the cash-rich tournament.
In IPL, Yuvraj last played for Preity Zinta co-owned Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 2018 edition, where he amassed as many as 65 runs in eight matches and ended up with zero wickets in his bag.
Here are some of the birthday wishes Yuvraj received:
