The Kiwi skipper, Kane Williamson is celebrating his 30th birthday on Saturday and he received numerous wished on all parts of the world since this morning. Yuvraj showered praises on Williamson and even said that there is a “lot to learn from the young legend”. The southpaw tweeted: “Happy birthday to the smooth operator of International cricket #KaneWilliamson! Calm, composed, determined and on top of the game at all times! So much to learn from this young legend. Have a wonderful day buddy”.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, the team which Williamson captained in the last two seasons, also wished the New Zealand stalwart with a special video tribute.

Surprisingly there haven’t been any wishes from Williamson’s New Zealand countrymen on the skipper’s birthday. That is because Williamson has been known for going extravagant on social media on his birthday, all-rounder Jimmy Neesham revealed.

When one of the Twitter users asked Jimmy Neesham that why he hasn’t posted anything, the all-rounder replied, “If you know Kane well, you know the best gift you can give him is NOT putting up an Instagram wishing him a happy birthday.”

Kane Williamson has often touted as one of the best batsmen across the format in modern-day cricket along with his contemporaries Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root, and Babar Azam.

Williamson led New Zealand to the World Cup final in 2019 where they suffered a heartbreaking loss against England at Lord’s but he was praised universally for the way his team fought in the tournament and how he conducted himself despite the controversial defeat against the hosts in the summit clash.
