Yuvraj Singh reminisces the World Cup Triumph of 2011 in Mumbai

The most celebrated leagues of India, Indian Premier League is set to begin from March 23. However, while walking down the Wankhede stairs for the practice session of Mumbai Indians franchise prior to the upcoming IPL, veteran India player Yuvraj Singh reminisces India’s World Cup winning memory in 2011. The final match was against Sri Lanka and it was played at Wankhede stadium. The then captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni finished the chase with a maximum while Yuvraj Singh was at the non-striker’s end.

However, he got a little emotional while walking out for the practice session along with Krunal Pandya. This year Yuvraj Singh will be playing for the Mumbai Indians for the very first time as he was bought by MI at his base price of Rs 1 Cr.

Mumbai Indians took Twitter and shared the video where Yuvraj Singh was talking about the World Cup win. Yuvraj further revealed the weight of his bat also when Krunal Pandya asked him. It apparently weighs 2.8 kgs. Meanwhile, a lot of hopes will be on him as he was one of the best players on his time and will surely try to use his expectations.
