Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been left out from the Indian team after India’s miserable defeat to arch-rivals Pakistan in the final of Champions Trophy 2017. He last played for India in West Indies, but his bat didn’t seem to hear his instructions as he struggled to score runs throughout the series. However, his spirit of making another comeback is yet to die as he is preparing for a new season with determination to achieve his goals ahead of the 2019 World Cup.
Yuvraj is India’s one of the best limited-over players who ever set foot on the field and contributed in several memorable victories. The most notable of those came in India’s World Cup 2011 triumph, where he bagged five man of the match award before being named the player of the tournament. India won that World Cup on home soil after defeating Sri Lanka in the finals by six wicket in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

He has made several comebacks in Team India and some says that Yuvi is the player with most number of comebacks among the Indian players. And he is eyeing to make another one through performing well at the domestic circuit. But he doesn’t seem to have a good rhythm ahead of the upcoming domestic season.
In the recent domestic season, he looked a little bit pale shadow of his past. He could score only 65 runs in eight matches at a dismal average of 10.83. Yuvraj couldn’t weave his magic with the ball either. The southpaw is not ready to give up the spirit by any means. He is getting a few suggestions that he shouldn’t do specific training methods because of his age.
But Yuvi being Yuvi, a fighter, took it to Twitter and announced that nothing can stop him from achieving his goal. His latest post reads;
“Last year I was told that m old for power training & shd stick to my normal routines. Dont tell me I can’t do something cause m going to #doitagain till I reach my goals. Look forward to start of a new season. Remember its never too late to learn something new n achieve it.”
