Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) seem to be enjoying their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 campaign. While on-field performances have been phenomenal, Kohli’s men are having a lot of fun, off it. On Thursday, Kohli took to social media and came up with a hilarious caption for a picture from their training session. He shared a photo of himself and his teammates, AB de Villiers, Devdutt Padikkal, and Mohammed Siraj staring at the camera from during their drills.

Captioning the picture on Instagram, Kohli wrote: “This pic takes me back to school days. 4 guys from the same class, and AB is the kid who’s finished homework and is prepared and the other 3 know they are in trouble.”

As expected, the picture grabbed a lot of limelight with Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan adding to the banter with comments on it. Sunrisers Hyderabad star poked fun at Siraj’s expression, saying: “And Siraj doesn’t even know that teacher has given us homework”.

The mood in RCB’s camp is upbeat as Kohli and his men have won 7 out of the 10 games they have played so far and as a result, they are standing at the 2nd spot. One more win will help them all but seal a play-offs spot but, as De Villiers said, RCB will not be settling for just a play-offs spot but a top 2 finish.

RCB will really be hoping to finis the league stage at the top-2 positions as they still have 4 matches. After their dominant 8-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders, RCB will next face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday following a 3-day break.
