Recently, RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took to Twitter and commented on the jersey of the Punjab Kings. Rahul now has replied to the tweet and has advised the Bangalore spinner to wear their away jersey when both sides meet each other for their match on 30th April.

Both Lokesh Rahul and Chris Gayle have been part of the RCB for a long time having consistently performed for them for many editions of the cash-rich league. In the mega auction held in 2017, Lokesh Rahul was bought by the Punjab franchise for a heavy amount. On the contrary, Chris Gayle went unsold in the two rounds of that auction and was eventually bought by the Punjab team for his base price of two crores.

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore started their IPL journey on a resounding note as both teams won their opening game. RCB defeated MI by two in the opening game of this edition of the IPL with AB de Villiers and Harshal Patel being the stars for the team with some exciting performances.
