The 30th Match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 was a high-voltage game, which saw Rajasthan Royals (RR) winning a close game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The Royals bagged the high-scoring thriller by seven runs and a lot of credit for the same goes to the dreamy hat-trick of Yuzvendra Chahal. The match, which was quite in favor of KKR till the time Shreyas Iyer was on crease, was turned 180 degrees by a magnificent spell of Chahal that came in the 17th over.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who managed to scalp five wickets, took a hat-trick in the 17th over to send the KKR batters packing. However, after the match, he could be seen getting involved in an adorable conversation with his wife Dhanashree. It has been seen on various occasions that Dhanashree Verma makes it to the stands to support the spinner in his games and this was the case again.

After the game, Chahal’s wife asked him about the feeling of taking a maiden hat-trick and also took a dig at him while stating that he is so happy with her being out of the bubble now. While the choreographer/dancer wife of Chahal pulled his leg, the spinner could be seen blushing. He was also congratulated for retaining his Purple Cap and bagging a five-for in the same game.

Another moment that drew fans’ attention was Chahal’s classic pose which he got famous for after the 2019 World Cup. After his hat-trick, he pulled off the same relaxed pose which was shared by fans widely on the internet as meme material.

After the match, Yuzvendra Chahal said, “I had to take wickets in this match to change the result. I worked on my bowling. I spoke to the coaches and the skipper. I was thinking of a googly but then I didn’t want to take a chance. Would have been a happy with a dot ball as well on my hat-trick ball. My googly was coming out well and sent it down to Venkatesh Iyer.”
