The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the names of 578 players, who will be under the hammer in the auction of the Indian Premier League. The mega-auction will take place on January 27-28 in Bengaluru, where all teams will be eyeing for a formidable combination.
Meanwhile, the legendary Indian fast-bowler Zaheer Khan is missing from this cut-off and may not play Indian Premier League from this edition. Despite getting retired from cricket in 2015, Zak mentioned he will be playing in the cash-rich league.

He has played for Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore before captaining Delhi Daredevils in previous two editions. However, he didn’t take Delhi to achieve any success in the league.
There are rumors that he may become a coach for any franchise as most of the teams are looking for the coaching staff. Despite getting Ricky Ponting in their system, a place for bowling coach is still vacant and Zaheer Khan is all likely to fill those shoes.
