The Indian Premier League(IPL) is all about, to begin with, its 12th edition as the defending Champions Chennai Super Kings will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL opener match on March 23.
IPL is not just the richest league but also a platform for many hidden talents to show their class performance and built up their career, IPL has helped many players set their career not only for Indian players but also for some foreign players to get recognition and also get selected in their National team.
There are players who have come all the way to play Indian Premier League, like every year we get to see new foreign players like since two-three years we can see the participation of the England players has increased. There are many players who register themselves in the IPL auction and as a team can only have 8 foreign players in their side which means only 64 overseas players get the chance to participate in the IPL every year. There are many well-known foreign players who have never played in the IPL since it’s establishment.
Here are the 3 players we bring before you who have not participated in the Indian Premier League.
1. Mohammad Shahzad
The most famous wicket-keeper of Afghanistan National team who is well known for his celebrations on the pitch, he recently equaled the record of Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh of making the fastest fifty in just 12 balls as he smashed 74 off 16 balls in the T-10 league. Shahzad has been the leading run-scorer for Afghanistan in T20 Internationals. Shahzad had made himself available for the 2019 IPL auctions but his auction only did not take place.
