3. MCA Stadium, Pune

MS Dhoni’s home ground in the last year was the MCA Stadium, Pune (Formerly known as the Subrata Rai Sahara Stadium) when he playing for Rising Pune Supergiant. He knows the ground very well and that will help the CSK team in future matches if they decide to play here.

4. Saurashtra Cricket Association, Rajkot

The Lord’s replica stadium was the home of now-defunct Gujarat Lions for the last two seasons. SO it is well accustomed to the rigors of IPL. The ground is home to one of the retained Chennai players, Ravindra Jadeja. The stadium has hosted a Test, ODI, T20I and IPL matches also.

The Jharkhand States Cricket Association International Cricket Stadium, also known as JSCA International Stadium Complex, is situated in Ranchi, the city that witnessed the rise of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This stadium is listed as the secondary home ground of Chennai Super Kings.

In IPL 2014, when the Chennai Super Kings faced similar issues with the Tamilnadu State Government used the JSCA Stadium as the backup options and played its home matches there. Although it is quite far from Chennai, it is very near to the heart of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
