Fans from across the country have been calling the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai frequently asking about the condition of India’s wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant, who has been hospitalized after a freak car accident on Friday morning. The incident took place in the morning hours of December 30, on National Highway 58. Pant was rushed to the hospital for scans and the primary ailment.
While some of them inquired about the hospital he has been admitted to, many fans have been inquiring about the severity of Pant’s injuries. There was also another set of fans who wanted to check if the southpaw gloveman would be able to participate in the upcoming home Test series against Australia which is set to commence in February 2023.

The accident took place while Rishabh Pant was driving to Roorkee. His car collided with a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway before catching fire which eventually resulted in his suffering gruesome injuries.
Prior to being transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun, the 25-year-old was admitted to a hospital near the accident zone. Although he has injuries to his head, back, and feet, his health is said to be stable.
Rishabh Pant has been receiving prayers and support from the entire cricketing fraternity around the globe, not just from India. It is also said that Indian skipper Rohit Sharma got in touch with the doctors treating Pant and got updates about his health. Members of the Indian cricket team also got in touch with the cricketer’s family and his manager to inquire about his condition.

One of the integral members of the Indian team, Rishabh Pant recently played a few dependable knocks during the Test series in Bangladesh. His knock of 93 runs in the second Test helped Team India to revive their innings in the match. The wicketkeeper-batter had been rested for the ODIs and T20Is against Sri Lanka and it was later reported that he will undergo recovery at the NCA.
