Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna is making a triumphant comeback to the team after a prolonged injury, showcasing outstanding form in the ongoing T20I series against Ireland. Following a stellar performance in the first game, he continued his impressive display in the second match.
Prasidh Krishna, who secured two wickets in the opening game, wasted no time in making an impact during the second match. In the ongoing contest at The Village in Dublin, the Karnataka pacer claimed two wickets in the very first over he bowled.
However, his impact wasn’t confined to his bowling prowess alone; Prasidh Krishna also displayed signs of aggression on the field. After delivering his second ball to Andrew Balbirnie in the second over, he threw the ball back at the batter, hitting him on the back and energizing the crowd.

The incident occurred when Prasidh Krishna bowled a fuller delivery and Balbirnie charged down the pitch, patting the ball back to the bowler. Reacting strongly, Prasidh threw the ball back at him. He quickly realized his reaction and offered an immediate apology.

In addition to Prasidh Krishna’s performance, Ravi Bishnoi also made his mark in the wickets column by picking up two wickets to trouble the Irish side.
India had a solid start in the batting department with Yashasvi Jaiswal (18) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (58) putting together a 29-run opening partnership. Despite losing two wickets subsequently, Sanju Samson (40) and Gaikwad stabilized the innings and played some impressive strokes.
