Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill continued his trend of taking playful digs at IPL rivals after victories, this time targeting Chennai Super Kings (CSK) following GT’s dominant win in Ahmedabad on Thursday night. After completing a season double over the five-time champions in IPL 2026, Gill shared a cheeky social media post that quickly grabbed attention online.

“Nandri 2. Yellow lights, blue ending,” Shubman Gill captioned a picture featuring himself alongside Mohammed Siraj and Jos Buttler. In the viral image, the GT stars posed with their fingers on their lips, seemingly hinting they had silenced the passionate CSK crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

The celebration reflected the intensity of the contest, especially after Gill’s animated reaction during the game. The GT skipper produced one of the standout moments of the match when he completed a sensational diving catch to dismiss Shivam Dube, who had briefly reignited CSK’s hopes in the massive chase of 230 runs.

Dube smashed a fiery 47 off just 17 balls, including four boundaries and four sixes, before Rashid Khan induced a mistimed shot. Gill sprinted backwards from cover and completed a stunning full-length dive to end the dangerous innings. Immediately after taking the catch, the GT captain celebrated aggressively and gestured towards the CSK supporters.

Sudharsan continued his remarkable form with 84 off 53 balls, while Jos Buttler remained unbeaten on 57 off 27 deliveries. In response, CSK collapsed under pressure and were bowled out for 140 in just 13.4 overs, suffering their eighth defeat of the IPL 2026 season.
