From the beginning of the ongoing IPL 2018, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has been struggling consistently despite having world-class players in the squad like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Brendon McCullum etc. Despite team’s continuous poor performances, skipper Kohli’s motivation level has not got any scratch.
In their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Hyderabad) on Monday night, RCB suffered another defeat and this time by just 5 runs after restricting the hosts for just 146 runs.
It was RCB’s seventh defeat in this season. Playing 10 games in this season, RCB has won only thrice and currently they are standing at the seventh position of the points table with 6 points. While RCB has very low chance to qualify for the playoffs in this IPL season, captain Virat Kohli recently posted a beautiful motivational message for the team.

Coming to their last game against SRH, RCB captain Virat Kohli decided to bowl first after winning the toss. RCB bowlers bowled very well in that game as they bowled out the hosts SRH for just 146 runs (146 in 20 overs). Apart from the SRH skipper Kane Williamson and Shakib Al Hasan, none of the other hosts’ batsmen achieved success in that innings.
Chasing down that low target, RCB batsmen were struggling from the very beginning. Even their few catches have been dropped by the SRH fielders, the RCB batsmen failed to utilize those valuable opportunities. None of their batsmen played the long innings as they managed to score only 141/6 at the end of 20 overs.
