Former Australian opener Mattew Hayden has carried forward the banter war ahead of Australia’s tour of India, which will commence from February 24th. Warning former India cricketer Sehwag, Hayden took to his social media. He tweeted, “#BeWarned Never take Aussie’s for a joke Viru Boy @virendersehwag @StarSportsIndia Just remember who’s baby sitting the #WorldCup trophy”.
This all kick-started after an advertisement which is played out as promotion on the broadcasting channel ahead of the upcoming and anticipated cricket series. In the advertisement, the Aussies were mocked in a comical fashion as Sehwag is seen babysitting them, making references to the Rishabh Pant-Tim Paine banter during India’s recent tour of Australia.
Here is Hayden’s Tweet:

Sehwag was seen with babies dressed in Australian jersey saying, “Jab hum Australia gaye the, toh unhone poocha tha babysitting karoge? Humne kaha sabke sab aajaao. Zaroor karenge.”
Wondering where the babysitting banter come from? Well, it started during the recently concluded India’s tour of Australia on the third day of the boxing day Test. During the game, a funny incident went viral – the Australian skipper Tim Paine had a friendly jibe on Pant to mock him while he was batting on the crease.”Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids,” he teased.

Paine had a go at Pant as he was scheduled to dart following the test series as he was replaced with the former skipper MS Dhoni for the limited over series. Adding to the fun, Pant was actually pictured with Paine’s wife Bonnie and his kids and the photograph posted by Bonnie with the captain “best babysitter” went viral.
The babysitting banters and the friendly jibes will continue when these two giant cricketing nationalities meet again. The first T20I between India and Australia will be held on February 24 in Bengaluru followed by the second T20I on February 27 in Visakhapatnam.
