IPL 2019: Watch – MS Dhoni and Shreyas Iyer’s Battle Of Table Tennis

Every team has played one game so far in the Indian Premier League 2019 and we have already witnessed some exciting matches. The round two’s matches will begin with Chennai Super Kings taking on Delhi Capitals at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Tuesday. Both teams have won their first game comprehensively and now will looking to maintain their winning momentum.

Before the match began in Delhi, skipper of both teams involved in a match of Table Tennis in the Team Hotel. Shreyas Iyer and MS Dhoni were playing Ping-Pont in a short video posted by Delhi Capitals’ Twitter handle.

In a ten-second long video, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi was seen sitting at the back and cheering for her husband. Iyer gave some exciting returns to Dhoni, who never looked out of control and played the ball back in Iyer’s court.

Posting the video, Delhi Capitals’ wrote “Let the games begin. Oh wait! Hey Chennai Super Kings, can you guess the score?”

Chennai played Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match of the season. A spin-heavy bowling lineup of CSK ran riot on an experience Bengaluru batting order, who got dismissed cheaply for just 70 runs. CSK didn’t reach to the total with utmost ease and consumed 18 overs to pass the crossing line. Imran Tahir and Harbhajan Singh, the chief architects of that victory and they are expected to repeat their performance on a spin-friendly Delhi surface.

On the other hand, Delhi defeated Mumbai Indians in the campaign opener with utmost ease at the Wankhede Stadium. DC’s batting order, led by Rishabh Pant, scored a mammoth total of 213/6 in 20 overs. Pant scored a brilliant fifty in just 18 balls and ended his innings for 78 runs. The team management will expect him to step up against Chennai to hand Delhi two wins in a row.
