Recently, a fan named Harsh made a compilation video of De Villiers’ sixes. The one-minute-long video has several sixes hit by De Villiers throughout his career. Martin Garix’s famous party anthem ‘Animals’ is being played in the background and one six is attached at every beat.

The video is so amazingly beautiful and satisfying. It received over 300k views within two days. Several cricket lovers appreciated this video uploaded on Twitter.

This video went viral in no time and AB de Villiers himself appreciated the video on Twitter. He replied with “This is so well done. Thank You.”

Inside the video, there is a caption that goes, “We are f**king Animals”. De Villiers responded to this with “We may get rid of the bad language though. Other than that, coolest video ever.”

The fan was over the moon after getting a reply from De Villiers and expressed his joy in the reply section.

The 37-year-old called curtains on his international career in May 2018. His last appearance for South Africa came during the four-match Test series against Australia, where he scored runs to help his team win the series.

He played 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20Is for South Africa and notched up 8765, 9577 and 1672 runs respectively.

He will be seen in action in the upcoming UAE leg of the IPL 2021 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The league will resume from September 19 in Dubai with Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings.
