Akmal asks Ashwin to learn from Tendulkar, Dhoni; Twitterati reacts

After the dismissal of Joss Buttler in an unimaginable way during the match between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), KXIP captain Ravichandran Ashwin has found himself in a controversial position. After the act, everyone started talking about the right and wrong of his doing. Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal is the new addition in the list; who suggested Ashwin learn from the great players like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni etc.

Chasing a huge total of 185, Rajasthan Royals got off to a flying start when Jos Buttler and Rahane were at the crease. The controversy took place in the 13th over when Ashwin came into bowl and dismissed Buttler in a mankading way. Buttler was out from his crease at the non-striker end, which made him depart.

However, this act of Ashwin made many former players disappointed and Shane Warne was one of them. He thought that this act doesn’t include under the rules of integrity and spirit of the game. Meanwhile, Kamran Akmal too felt that and suggested Ashwin learn from Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and other veteran cricketers.
