On Sunday, Indian Premier League veteran Amit Mishra did an Instagram live session on the official handle of Delhi Capitals. During the session, the Indian veteran leggie talked about many memories from his career. Mishra also spoke on one of his favorite times when he was batted with cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar during a Test match.
Mishra recalled, ” I am really proud to have batted with Sachin paaji in 2011 Test series against England. I think it was one of the most memorable moments of my Test career. I had scored 43 in the first innings and went in as night watchman in the second innings. Sachin paaji kept guiding me throughout my innings and I ended up scoring 84 while paaji made 91″.

Amit Mishra is a very familiar name to the Indian cricket fans since the 2000s. The leggie has donned the white jersey 22 times for India and scalped 76 wickets in the longest format of the game. Speaking about white-ball cricket, Mishra has played 36 ODIs and scalped 64 wickets. The leg-spinner has also represented India in the shortest format of the game. Mishra has 16 dismissals at an economy rate of 6.31 in T-20 cricket.
Amit Mishra has been with the Delhi based IPL Franchise for the last eight years. He has featured in every IPL edition and is also the first spinner in the history of IPL to have three hat-tricks to his name. Overall, Amit Mishra has played over 145+ matches in the Indian Premier League and has 157 wickets to his name.

Mishra started his IPL career when he represented Deccan Chargers and then moved to Pune Warriors India. He has also featured for Sunrisers Hyderabad and is now plying trade with the Delhi Capitals.
