Amit Mishra has been doing great work for Delhi Capitals in the ongoing season of Indian Premier League (IPL). He was about to take another IPL hat-trick in his team’s five-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in Delhi on Saturday. But unfortunately, that didn’t happen. He dismissed Shreyas Gopal and Stuart Binny in two consecutive balls, the third one could be another dismissal, however, Trent Boult has dropped the catch of Krishnappa Gowtham and Mishra failed to register another hat-trick in the IPL. Later, Mishra expressed that he had abused Trent Boult for this.
“I don’t know if I have a love affair with the IPL but I am sad about the missed hat-trick. I abused him a little after Boult dropped the catch. I told him it was a simple catch and he could have taken it. Why did you jump unnecessarily?” said the leg-spinner at the post-match presentation.

Amit Mishra, meanwhile, was named the Player of the Match for his impressive figures of 3 for 17.
“I told him off in English but he said sorry two or three times so it’s fine,” he further added.
Mishra, however, is the second leading wicket-taker with 155 wickets in the history of IPL. He has taken nine wickets from nine matches so far for Delhi in this season.
“I always try to bowl my stock ball more, because that is important to build pressure. I didn’t get a lot of wickets this season because batsmen are trying to play me out,” Amit Mishra said.
