For the past few days, Indian pacer S Sreesanth’s statements are amusing one and all, on the media platforms. After the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decision of not allowing him from Kerala to play any competitive cricket again, Sreesanth has come out with various accusations against the board. He got support from many fans, and now, he has the support of a former Indian captain, Mohammad Azharuddin.
According to the pacer, BCCI has taken action only against him while the other alleged cricketers are either plying in IPL or surprisingly, still playing in the Indian team. Such a comment has drawn a lot of attention for many news channels and fetched reactions from everywhere.
According to Azhar, the doorway to the Indian squad is yet not shut for Sreesanth, he said, “Sreesanth is one of the most talented Indian pace bowlers. The doors of the Indian team have not been shut on him. Sree should come clean and wait patiently. The key is not to lose confidence.”
Azharuddin has come out in full support of the banned Indian pacer, he also had his share of embarrassment, when the BCCI banned him for the very same reason way back in 2000. Whether Sree’s career will follow a similar pattern or not remains yet to be seen.
