Another huge moment for Indian skipper of the women’s team Mithali Raj as she was named in the BCC 100 Women list 2017. The BBC revealed Raj as one of the most influential women in India on Wednesday.

Recently, Mithali grabbed eyeballs by featuring on the cover of international style magazine Vogue along with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Nita Ambani. She was congratulated by other sports stars like Isa Guha and Jwala Gutta for the achievement and other fans as well.

Talking about the BBC 100 Women list 2017, there are few other names too from India. The other names are Ira Trivedi and Tulika Kiran from Delhi along with Aditi Avasthi from Bangalore and Mehroonisa Siddiqui and 4 others are among others on the list.

The Indian women named on Wednesday, are part of the list of 60 women from around the world who are have inspired others through their actions.
