Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has refused to grant No Objection Certificate (NOC) to star fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman to take part in T10 Cricket League.

On the other hand, the board had issued a NOC to Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan, who will participate in the inaugural edition of this league, which will be played in UAE from 14 to 17 December. Mustafizur was expected to play for Bangla Tigers, which will play the opening match of the league against Shakib led-Kerala Kings.

Director of BCB Khaled Mahmud quoted to Cricbuzz, “We didn’t want to take a risk with Mustafizur as there is an important series against Sri Lanka coming up shortly.”

BCB is in no mood to take a risk over his fitness, as he is very vulnerable towards untimely injuries. Recently, he made a comeback during Bangladesh Premier League after sustaining an injury, which forced him to miss limited-over leg in South Africa.
