In a move to streamline travel arrangements, CMRL is introducing one-way tickets priced at INR 50, allowing passengers to exit at any station within the metro network. The initiative aims to mitigate the challenges of purchasing tickets amidst network congestion and post-match rush at metro stations, ensuring a smoother experience for commuters.

“Commuters are advised to buy their metro tickets in advance for return/round trip (to & fro) either online (CMRL mobile App, Paytm app, Phonepe app, WhatsApp, ONDC etc.) or at the ticket counters at any of the stations before going to the stadium,” CMRL emphasized in a tweet, urging proactive ticket purchases to streamline post-match travel.
