After serving their two year ban from the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings will mark their return to the IPL 2018, the most iconic franchise in IPL history will roar again in the eleventh edition of India’s annual cricketing carnival.
You cannot think of the IPL without thinking of CSK, as their ‘whistle podu’ slogan is one of the most recognizable sounds in the history of the cash-rich league. The fans missed the two-time IPL champions sorely over the last couple of years, as the spot-fixing scandal withheld the great fans of Chennai from cheering on their heroes in yellow.
Whilst his time with the Super Kings, MS Dhoni was the unchallenged captain of Chennai and he was treasured all around the Chepauk Stadium.
On Friday, CSK launched a jersey for the Muthoot group Junior Super Kings Inter-School T20 Championship. Here is the video of the launch event:
